- Caramel: 3 tbsp thick caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- Butter: 3 tbsp unsalted butter, softened

Instructions
- Butter the bread:
- Lay out the bread slices and lightly spread one side of each with softened butter.
- Layer the fillings:
- Place half the slices butter-side down. On each, layer cheese, a few apple slices, and drizzle with a small amount of caramel sauce (about 1/2 tsp per bite).
- Assemble sandwiches:
- Top with the remaining bread slices, butter-side up, to form sandwiches.
- Cut into mini bites:
- Using a sharp knife or small biscuit cutter, cut each sandwich into quarters to form mini bites.
- Grill:
- Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium-low heat. Add the mini sandwiches and grill for 2β3 minutes per side, pressing gently with a spatula, until golden brown and cheese is melted.
- Serve:
